Dr. Hao-Xun Chang (Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology, National Taiwan University) is recruiting multiple Postdoctoral Fellows, Research Assistants, and Ph.D. students to investigate plant–pathogen–microbiome interactions.
The laboratory has a strong track record and sustained funding in the study of soilborne fungal pathogens, microbiomes, and the mechanisms of disease resistance in soybean, legumes, and model systems.
Major Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to interdisciplinary research projects
- Develop and standardize experimental protocols and computational pipelines
- Execute wet-lab and/or dry-lab experiments
- Perform data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation
- Actively contribute to scientific publications and career development
Research Focus
- Deciphering the ecological functions of microbial communities
- Identifying key microorganisms with plant growth–promoting and/or antagonistic traits
- Elucidating molecular mechanisms by which microbiomes suppress soilborne diseases in soybean and Arabidopsis
