Harnessing plant and soil microbiomes for sustainable agriculture

Harnessing plant and soil microbiomes for sustainable agriculture

Plant microbiome research is rapidly moving from descriptive surveys to transformative insights with real-world impact. This session seeks talks that highlight fundamental discoveries,  from molecular mechanisms of plant–microbe signalling to ecological principles of community assembly, that lay the foundation for innovative applications in sustainable agriculture. We aim to showcase work that bridges basic science and applied potential, revealing how cutting-edge microbiome research can drive the next generation of resilient, productive, and sustainable cropping systems.
